Applications:
Bisphenol AF is used to cure or cross-link fluorocarbon elastomers, often in conjunction with an accelerator such as triphenyl benzylphosphonium chloride (BTPPC) by producing fluoroelastomers with convenient processing and excellent properties in the final elastomer, including compression set, chemical resistance and thermal stability.Bisphenol AF is also useful as a monomer in the synthesis of specialty polyimides, polyamides, polyesters, polycarbonates, polyurethanes, and other polymers. Polymers containing Bisphenol AF are useful in high-temperature composites,in electronic materials,in gas permeable membranes, and in other specialty polymer applications.
