Properties
White or reddish color crystal powder, soft, almost not dissolve in water and alcohol, not steady when heat, break down gradually and change into red when temperature is higher than 45¡æ and completely decompose at 166.
Using
it is mainly used in dyestuff industry for preparing 3-Amino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole, synthesizing cationic red 2BL, cationic red X-GRL, composing medicine trapidil, methyl gag, pesticide Nitrovin and so on.
It is also the synthesizing raw material of color film, plastic vesicant and primary explosive.
