SEBS is a kind of thermoplastic elastomer.
Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) - TPEs are a family of polymers that can be repeatedly stretched without permanently deforming the shape of the part. Unlike rubber-like elastomers, they do not require curing or vulcanization, as they are true thermoplastics. Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) may be processed by conventional thermoplastic techniques such as injection molding, extrusion and blow molding. Thermoplastic elastomers have replaced rubber and PVC in many applications. Shanghai Smart is offering styrenic block copolymers type of TPE: SEBS.
The products in the selective hydrogenation of SEBS are of good temperature endurance with brittle temperature not higher than -60 °C and the maximum service temperature of 149 °C. The decomposing point is higher than 270 °C under oxygen environment. SEBS has excellent aging resistance and the performance degradation rate less than 10% after being aged in the artificial aging accelerator for one week. SEBS is superior in electrical property.

SIS is a high performance thermoplastic elastomers with a combination of high strength, low hardness and low viscosity for easy thermoplastic processing as a melt or in solution with the lowest hardness and lowest viscosity of all the styrenic block copolymers.
